Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about Pour, support, and working with Liquid Compose.

Theme Setup

You can install Pour directly from the Shopify Theme Store. Once purchased, it will appear in your Online Store > Themes section. Click 'Add theme' and select Pour from your library. From there, you can choose a preset and start customising.

Navigate to Online Store > Themes > Customise. In the theme editor, look for the preset selector in your theme settings. Each preset (Pulse, Factor, Raven, Silica, State) applies a complete design configuration including colours, typography, and section layouts.

Yes. Pour is designed to work with your existing Shopify products, collections, and pages. When you activate a preset, it applies visual settings to your content. You may need to adjust some section settings to match your preferred layout.

Customisation

Pour supports Shopify's built-in font library. For custom fonts beyond the standard library, we can assist with a customisation request. This involves uploading your font files and updating the theme's typography settings.

Each preset is designed as a cohesive system. While you can customise individual settings after applying a preset, we recommend starting with the preset closest to your desired look and refining from there. Mixing full presets is not supported.

Performance

Start by checking your image sizes (aim for under 200KB per image), reducing the number of third-party apps, and ensuring your theme is up to date. If issues persist, we offer performance audits that identify specific bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations.

Pour is built with performance as a priority — lazy loading, optimised CSS, and minimal JavaScript. However, third-party apps, large images, and custom code can impact your scores. We can help diagnose any issues.

Theme Support Policy

We support Theme Bug Fixes and will answer Merchant Questions in the cost of the Theme. Additional Services are not included in the cost of the theme. We do not offer or support custom coding tutorials.

Duplicate your theme before editing any code. We also recommend hiring a Shopify Partner for help with custom code changes.

No. We do not offer or support custom coding tutorials. Our support covers Theme Bug Fixes and answering Merchant Questions about the theme.
